The Young Furniture Makers’ Society is a community network of over 100 young makers nationwide. They span the whole industry, covering a variety of materials and processes. Most are on courses and some are employed or even self employed.
We run a programme of monthly events that can be found below, and work in partnership with several leading organisations in the furniture and design sectors.
Mostly organised through Instagram @youngfurnituremakerssociety, we aim to collaborate and support each other, and to empower young people to become the next generation of furniture professionals.
